Jessica is a licensed counseling psychologist in Pennsylvania and New York. She earned her doctoral degree from Penn State’s Counseling Psychology program. Jessica has worked as a therapist for over 15 years in various settings, including college counseling centers and community mental health agencies. Her work and training has focused primarily on adolescents and young adults coping with trauma (particularly sexual assault), depression, anxiety, identity development, and family and relationship concerns. Jessica’s therapeutic style and orientation are influenced by attachment, psychodynamic, feminist, and multicultural theories. She has specialized training in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), a type of emotion-focused therapy that is useful for working with complex trauma in particular. Jessica also works as a psychologist at Centre Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM).
